During a Work Class ROV mob/demob, a time-consuming operation is the tether connection. The QTC has been designed to offer the possibility to quickly have the Vehicle ready to dive by simply connecting the Tether/Plug with the Receptacle on the ROV.
A simple pre/dive Insulation Test followed by the QTC connection enable to have the Vehicle in the water in a very short time and in case, allow a very quick tether re-termination. QTC is certified by DNV GL as per Classification rules: RU-UWT.
